Drake collaborated with Bad Bunny for MIA (2018), and Madonna was a part of Maluma for the release of Medellin. The year 2000 saw a number of reggaeton stars were complaining about its inclination towards mainstream, but a new generation, led by Rauw Alejandro, aimed to continue the evolution of reggaeton. The musician incorporated electronic dance music and others into his music.
