She was born in Santa Monica California, the United States of America on November 26 in 1986. She is the daughter of her father Vincenzo as well as her mom Valerie Barba. Her family relocated to Point Pleasant New Jersey when she was just six years old. She completed her education at Red Bank Catholic High School, New Jersey. The schooling continued in Catholic University where she earned the degree of bachelor of architecture. A violinist since age 4"Violingirl" was her name. Her performances led to being nicknamed Violin Girl. She also worked as instrumental teacher to the kids in the region. At the age of 19 she entered into the 6th American Idol season and performed one single Free, 1976. However, she was removed from the show after achieving the 16th spot. The singer has performed a variety of songs like 2009's "The Songs of Christmas" and the 2010's Out for Blood. The singer has also been featured on the shows of Jimmy Kimmel Live! Antonella Barba, an American artist, became famous after performing on the sixth season of American Idol. Also after eliminating her when she reached the top 16 on the show, she began to try her luck in the screen. The actress has acted in minor roles in some movies and has appeared as a participant on Fear Factor during the 2012 season. Daily Mail report that according to the news from the 21st of November, 2019 she has been sent to prison for four years in connection with a conspiracy to use of fentanyl to distribute it. The artist pleaded guilty having over 400 grams of fentanyl, with the intention of distribute it in July. She was however arrested in Virginia during October of 2018, when she attempted to transport two pounds of fentanyl to a stashhouse.
